In the spring of 2020, FOTODOK collaborated with doc! photo magazine on their upcoming summer issue #46. FOTODOK’s curator Daria Tuminas worked together with the editorial team of the magazine, Grzegorz Kosmala and Aneta Kowalczyk, to compose photographic projects and texts about the subjects of migration and collective memory.

Within this collaboration, FOTODOK continues its focus on the subject of collective memory, which has been in our spotlight this year. Artists we represent in the publication have been part of two exhibitions: Joint Memory: Photographic Fragments which talked about how the memory of collectivities is shaped by photography, and the ongoing This Creaking Floor and All the Ceilings Below (until July 26th, 2020) which focuses on the memory of the building at Lange Nieuwstraat 7 where FOTODOK is located.
